Is this a good FPS for my 980Ti on GTAV at 1080p?

I did a benchmark on GTAV at 1080p with every possible setting as high as it can go in Graphics and advance graphics and i did not use 8xmsaa because i used 4xmsaa so i could have txaa also and this is what i got, is this good? When the game is night i get around 30FPS and even when i turn down most settings i still get extremely bad FPS.

More about good fps 980ti gtav 1080p
  1. You should run with more fps on 1440p so I would say you have some sort of problem. Have you tried msi afterburner? What is your GPU load/temp, does the load reach 100%?

It is at 1500MHz core also. ANd are you sure? Because i am using all maxed settings and i saw where even a Titn X 2 way SLI was getting bad FPS at 1440p on this game when fully maxed out and is why i wanted to check. I have V synce on also. My temp is 60 max and it is at 100% load at all times when playing GTAV and so is my CPU
  3. If everything is maxed out then it's possible in some scenes to have such fps and with 100% load even more so. What about other games, have you experienced any underperformances? If not, then it's most likely because of the game.

Well when i play the Witcher 3 with hairworksx8msaa and all maxed out i go to as low as 40FPS and on Rise of the TOmb Raider fully maxed out i get 40FPS at times also but that game uses 12GB of RAm and needs 9GB of VRAM to run at 1080p and my 6GB is not enough from what NVIDIA said and is why i have that FPS lag so that im ok with. On 3D mark i got a "Graphics score" of 19,256 so is that good? I do not go by the total score because my CPU sucks ass when compared to an i7 and such so i just look at Graphics score. If you have a 980Ti can you tell me yours? I try to search for other 980Ti user resaults on 3D mark but it says their is no one on the entire site that owns a single 980Ti and that everyone owns 4 980Ti so i cant compare my 1 980Ti to others who own 1 :(
  5. The most demanding games will ALWAYS have settings that not even the most powerful GPU setup cannot run, it's all about finding the right settings. As a high hz user my FPS hunger is even greater and although I love how well my 780ti has done over the years, I know I have to use the right settings that look/feel great.

I plan on getting the next x80ti and still don't expect to be able to max everything, for me higher fps/very high settings is always the goal.

I think the same way but its just that everyone has been telling me that my 980Ti has been under perfornming what it should and i was wanting to see what others have been getting on average with a 980Ti.

I periodically turn hyper threading off on my older non-k i7-2600 and used to get better benchmarks a few years ago, but lately HT on has always given my better performance so you may want to update CPU to a 4790k if your mobo allows OC or the regular 4790 if not.

I know it won't but a huge difference but you will see it. Most folks with the i5 get a K model and OC to offset the lack of 8 threads, GTA5 for sure always ran better and I mean way better with HT on vs. off on my particular setup. I've done it a few times and I always can't stand it off and turn it back on thinking something is wrong with my computer (knowing it was fine before and becomes fine after) and that's with my 780ti so I'd imagine your 980ti is even hungrier.
