Good Upgrade for Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 3GB Video Card?

I am looking to upgrade from my Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 3GB Video Card to one that can support 4k resolutions. I would prefer it be a Sapphire graphics card as well. I want a graphics card that can play most games at high or better graphics quality with decent frames. I don't care if the card can't support all games at 4k, but if it can do most, that would be good. I don't play my most graphics card dependent game would probably be Fallout 4.

Here is my build:

  1. There MANY factors here. Do you a card to be playable at 4k or merely support it? Is it a 4k monitor or TV? What's your budget?
  2. Most modern cards can support 4k resolutions.
If you plan on gaming at 4k, then you need a GTX980ti class card.
  3. new architecture video cards from Nvidia and AMD are coming out around July this year,
I would highly recommend you wait till then as they will be on smaller manufacturing process and much more efficient

It would be and I would say my budget is under $500.
  5. $500 will buy you a GTX980.
    $600 will buy you a GTX980ti.

Look for some benchmarks of YOUR games to see if that is important enough to you.

If you have the budget, buy the stronger card, if you do not, you will forever wonder what you are missing.
