I recently found out about the Intel Xeon E3-1231V3. If you're not overclocking (which I don't think you need personally) then this cpu has i7 quality with 8 threads but just comes without iGPU but you don't need it with that monster GTX 980 Ti. The latter would be just the plain i7-4790 (no k, no overclocking=cheaper). The Intel Xeon E3-1231V3 should perform just as good and runs fine with stock cooler at lower temperatures than most cpu's. I don't know shit really for the record I've just done tons of research as I'm trying to build my own.
