Best Setup for Airflow in a Corsair Air 540 with Water Cooling (H110i GT)

Hi guys,

I'm close to beginning building my PC (http://pcpartpicker.com/p/cqnT23) in a Corsair Air 540, but don't know how to set up my fans...

I will be overclocking, and I have all the fans that could be put in the case. What would be the optimal way to set up the fans? I know that my water cooling radiator should be intake (I'm doing push/pull as well), but how should the other fans go? How many fans for exhaust?

Thanks,
Jules_GB

  1. I'm just using one cpu air fan with no case fans. My i5-4690k is overclocked to 4.4 and I'm getting about 80C on prime95. IMO, you only need 2-3 case fans max. More case fans = more noise.

Normally air comes in from the front and goes out from the top and back.

I know, but I have already bought the fans, and want to make good use of them...

Despite their unnecessary use, what would the optimal way to set them up be?

In any case, the difference would be 2-3 degrees no matter how you set them up.
