It is worth it. I would get a 212 EVO at the minimum. The stock cooler is not made in anyway to support OC.

  2. intelturtlefan said it right, i have an fx 8320 and i used that 212 evo by far amazing for the price! the stock coolers for both amd and intel arent so great especially for gaming, video editing, or anything else that can be strenuous on ur pc.
