BIOS won't let me change CPU ratio, but will let me change core voltage etc.

I built this current PC just over 3 weeks ago. I overclocked it multiple times trying to find the sweet spot, and I stopped tinkering with it a few days after building it. Now, a week ago, I turned on MSI motherboard fast boot and windows 8 fast boot in the bios. The only problem with that is, is that since then, it won't let me in to the BIOS. Any suggestions?

Components:
G3258 @ 4.3Ghz (now at stock settings cause of extra bit below)
MSI H81M-P33

After writing the paragraph above, I removed the CMOS battery, and it lets me in my BIOS. The only problem is, is that it wont let me overclock but it will let me change my core clock, ram settings and all that jazz. What is wrong?

  1. H81 doesn't allow changing the CPU multiplier, for that want a Z97 mobo
