Will KVR800D2N6/4G ddr 2 memorry work on Asus P5QPL AM motherboard ?

Hello guys. I was wondering if any of you tested memory kingston KVR800D2N6/4G (2x4gb) on asus P5QPL AM motherboard. It says on aliexpress it's designed for AMD only but i have seen on internet that it works on some intel mobos as well. Could anyone tell me if it works?. Thank you

P.S : Also can't make up my mind between Intel e8600(dual) and q6600(quad)procesor

Well thing is that for some motherboards ram will work and for some it won't. In my case I put 2 x4gb sticks of that memory on my asus p5qpl -am motherboard and it worked but pc only recognised 4gb instead of 8 (Mobo can have 8gb ram). When I put it on amd mobo it worked just fine. So if ram is advertised as Amd compatible I wouldn't risk it and look for intel compatible ram instead.
