Is there any way to repair my hard disk ? Kindly help



As you can see one of my hard disk is near to it's death :pfff: Windows is also showing warning message again and again. Anyway, is there anything I can do to repair it's bad sectors ?

  1. Not likely. Once the surface has been damaged, it just keeps getting worse until you reach the point you are at now, and then it dies.
  2. Hi there vikbot,

    Have you backed up the data stored on the drive? In case you haven't done that, it may be a good idea to do so as the drive can fail at any time.
    I don't really think you can repair the bad sectors.
    One thing you can try is to use some tool in order to write zeros on it. After that, you can retest and see whether you will get similar results.

  3. Time to replace. Bad sectors never get better, only worse.
    Get your data off of it to another drive, and replace this one. It is now a fridge magnet donor.

    Ohhoho ! But Thanks for your reply bro :) Any software you recommend to write zeros on it ?

    Keep in mind that this will not help in case these are physical ones.
    Unfortunately, you will most probably need to replace the drive. :(
