Ethernet cable connection issue, Guys please please please help me

Dear Friends,
yesterday till 11 PM i was using my desktop through LAN, but i took a break and came back then i found not connected to the network, so i re-connected wire in the CPU and modem both, restarted the computer re-install the drivers, as i am using a Chinese motherboard "Gsonic"
please find detailed information of my mother board,

then i opened device manager i failed to find the network controller option in the list

and in hidden devices

then i used my android phone to connect through usb tethering then i successfully connected through wi fi network
so should i buy a network adapter and start using through wi fi, or is it fixable?

Modem: modem is working fine as all devices are connected through wi fi, i haven't checked any other device through LAN, but i switched 2 wires to ensure that wire is working, both were working earlier,

when i Reinstall ethernet driver see the notification

Guys, help me this is the 4th issue in the same desktop in last 3/4 months

More about ethernet cable connection issue guys please
  1. Just get a new ETHERNET card for your PC, don't need to downgrade the PC to wifi.

Next time I suggest not getting a cheapo motherboard if you want stability. You don't have to go top of the line, just get one from a reputable company like ASUS, Asrock, Gigabyte, MSI. Even their budget models will be of appropriate quality.

Quick question: is Ethernet card is motherboard specific, or window specific? can i buy anyone ?
I tried to find the original motherboard but big brands has stopped manufacturing such motherboards so unwillingly i had to buy a Chinese one :(

For the most part you can buy any one. There is PCI and PCI-E slots, as long as your motherboard has PCI-E I would go for that.

As far as windows if you have 7 or 8 then pretty much every card supports that. If you have 10 or something older then windows 7 I would research the card.

I am using windows 7, so are you sure that my network card is defective? if yes which one should i order among these http://www.flipkart.com/computers/network-components/network-interface-cards/pr?p%5B%5D=sort%3Dpopularity&sid=6bo%2C70k%2Cp4a&filterNone=true&q=network+card

was wondering can i use this one(wi fi adapter) instead of buying a network card price is almost same which one will be best option? http://www.flipkart.com/tp-link-150mbps-high-gain-wireless-usb-adapter/p/itmdzusgbtfhhadq?pid=USBDZUSDGUZBGBXR

till date i was using through LAN ,
    Thanks in advance :)
  5. Wired is always going to better then wifi, you will be taking several steps backwards going wifi.

I cant open the flipkart link on the network I am currently on unfortunately.

I would get it from a vendor that makes networking equipment (vs a peripherals company that just also makes a network card). So TP-Link, Trendnet, netgear, or d-link.

I know your board is semi-old but still new enough to have pci-e. If you have an open PCI-E slot then get that, otherwise get regular PCI.
  6. Resolved: I did nothing special just gave a clean to cabinet, replaced ethernet cable again, reboot the system and modem and connect all wires again, its started working again, so basically it was luck by chance there is strong possibility that problem will occur again, then probably i will have to buy a new Ethernet card!

Rest Thanks @boosted1g for your help closing this thread choosing best solution to buy a new ethernet card
