Unless you have some specific purpose for splitting it, just leave it as 1.
  2. okay. thank you. Help me out on this one USAFRet. How big a C: partition should be for an internal hard drive? Is it fine if I make it to more than 300GB? Now it is 199GB at present. Does it slow down the PC even if I run i7 3770 with 8 gigs of RAM?

What drives do you have in the system?
What do you use this system for?

It won't slow the PC down either way. Personally, I would have left it at the 1TB, but 200 or 300GB is fine.
  6. Thank you very much.
