I have an AMD FX-8320 Eight-Core CPU running on my ASRock 970 Pro3 R2.0 Motherboard. I was just wondering If I should update my current BIOS version (p1.50) to the latest one (p1.80). I have already updated it once with no issues but I hear that it can brick the motherboard, it's risky, and I shouldn't do it if it's working perfectly fine. Yes, it is working fine with no problems, but I I just wanted to know if it would improve the performance of my CPU or any other component. Any suggestions?
P.S. I just upgraded to Windows 10 moments ago BTW, I was just checking for all driver updates.

With Win 10 it might help in the way of compatibility with other components and possible even software. Allso it might help DRAM performance a bit, most BIOS updates are full of DRAM updates
