Need help figuring out if GTX 750 TI Superclocked can be used with current computer components. PSU is rated at 460 Watts

Hello Everyone! I am currently in the process of upgrading my graphics card from the old AMD HD 7450 to the faster, EVGA GeForce GTX 750 TI Superclocked edition. I'm worried that my pre-built pc's power supply cannot handle the card even though a lot of forums and posts have stated otherwise.

I have a power supply unit rated at 460 Watts. The exact model number is the dps-460db-5a. I know nothing about power supplies so I am unable to determine how much amperage this can supply.

My computer model and specifications are found on HP's website:
HP Pavilion HPE h8-1212: http://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c03364037/
I have verified each and every part, they match exactly what is on my desktop.

The graphics card I am planning on purchasing is the Nvidia 750Ti superclocked edition by EVGA: http://www.evga.com/products/Product.aspx?pn=02G-P4-3753-KR

Thanks!

750 Ti - Can be used with current set-up, CPU cooler is highly highly recommended, for eg. 212x(check for fitment)

mentioned PSU seems fine use 550w for some headroom.

Thank you so much for you answer! I have an additional question: I heard mixed reviews about the Delta brand PSU, so do I have a risk of damaging any components if I install said graphics card into it? I'd like to clarify: I'm afraid the PSU will have it's capacitors explode if I use this card too much, is that still a posibility with the Delta PSU brand? It's not Antec.
  3. Delta PSU's are good, they also work as vendor for other PSU brands like Antec etc based on their given specs.
