need overclocking advice I5 3570k

I have a i5 3570k at 4ghz 38 degrees underload and 60 degrees at full load can i go to 4.2ghz please i am using a deepcool gammaxx 300 cooler

  1. Well if it's at 4ghz already i think you would go to 4.2ghz but check your temps.

    But i dont know exactly, even identical CPU's overclock different. With overclocking, it's a lottery.

    I personally would NEVER set auto voltage when overcloking. Overvolting can damage your CPU.

    For Intel, i would never go ahead 1.35v

    I dont know, there's no way to know without trying. I just said you dont go ABOVE 1.35v.

    And for temperature, on this i5 keep below 80c and you are good.
  6. 41 degrees under load and 65 degrees full load 4.2ghz
    Voltage auto monitored it 1.1-1.23 v
  7. Then you're done. Very good temps and voltage, and 4.2GHz it's more than enough.

    I have mine FX 8320 at 3.7GHz and i can't even use more than 50% of the CPU.
