Do I need the Adapter for my USB Hub?

I recently bought a 4 port USB Hub so I could accommodate the following upgrades of my peripherals(my motherboard has no more USB ports available so I needed to buy a HUB):
Gaming Keyboard
Gaming Mouse
Gaming Headset
Gaming Speaker (USB powered)
I was wondering if they would require more than 500mA of power that will make me buy an Adapter.

The Adapter needs to have an Output of +5.0V--2.0A. I found an Adapter but it has 1.5A and another one has 2.5A (The Volts match though). I couldn't find an Adapter that matches the requirement needed. Should I buy the one with 2.5A or 1.5A?

Here's the picture of the USB Hub I bought: http://

More about adapter usb hub
  1. if it a powered hub it should have came with the ac adaptor. check the box and spec to make sure it has one. if not return it for a unit that has the adaptor with it.

It doesn't come with the adapter. It says in the box that you'd apply an Adapter if USB devices require more than 500mA power supplies. And, that's the decent USB hub I could find.
  3. might get lucky at your local radio shack...some times they used to sell a muilt voltage bricks. set from 1-12v and had set of pins for different devices.

get another powered USB-HUB with ac adapter or something like:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/aLLreli%C2%AE-Adaptor-Adapter-Splitter-Android/dp/B00KMKSFHI/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1429517618&sr=8-2&keywords=5v+2a+usb+hub

Impportant things to know for this hub:
-Voltage output always have to be 5V
-current can be 2A or more, but not less than 2A
-the jack polarity -> plus inside and minus/ground outside
look for the same symbol, like it´s shown on the Hub itself: (left symbol on the picture)

Try and purchase one off of Amazon or try and look in your local computer stores.
