Computer was working fine couple of hours ago and now it won't turn on.

So this is a custom built computer that I built about a week ago. There wasn't any problems until today when I was using it before work and turned it off and once I came back and tried to turn it on it wouldn't. If anyone could help me that'll be great.

More about computer working fine couple hours ago turn
  1. That PSU is realy piece of crap. Probably it failed. Do you have any other PSU , to change it if it starts with the other one? Anyway i suggest you to get a better PSU.
  2. When you say not working, does anything turn on, or is it completely dead?

Yeah I'll probably just return it tomorrow and get a better PSU.
  5. Buy something at least silver certification and a trusted brand like FSP or xfx or seasonic. 600watt is more than enough
  6. FSP isnt a good brand though...

XFX, SeaSonic, Antec, and EVGA (B2/g2, GS).

    Those are the golden ones.

The certification doesnt matter unless you want to save a lil bit of money on your electric bill
