Have you already put files onto the disk ? - or is it new. If you have never used it it may need to be repartitioned. These disks always come partitioned now but it may have slipped through the net. If you have already used it and put files onto it it sounds as though you may have unplugged it without unmounting it from Windows (you should always unmount it first or wait for the computer to shut down before unplugging an external drive). If this is the case then download Easue data recovery software (free) from:

http://www.easeus.com/datarecoverywizardpro/?ad&gclid=CIbp2afx0MMCFazKtAodFhsAKg

and follow the instructions.

Do NOT try to put any more files or programs onto the disk itself before running this software.

Hi, I also have a problem with my Seagate Expansion 1TB. The drive icon does not show up in my computer but the blue light is still blinking. Also, I can find it in the device manager and windows said that it is still working properly. However, popup message shows up in the safely remove that a USB connected to the computer is not working properly.

The drive is almost full and I also run some programs there. I accidentally dropped the drive twice but I don't think that is the reason why the drive is not showing up in my computer.

Thank you in advance for your responses!
