How much do you have to spend?

If you get a new CPU, you will need a new motherboard, new RAM, new power supply and maybe a new chassis as well.
  2. So, 1st, what are you trying to do with this computer?

If you're just using it as an internet and office machine. Get yourself a new stick of RAM, preferably of the same model of your current one that works. Here is an example: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820159021&cm_re=DDR2_800-_-20-159-021-_-Product

If you want to game or do more intensive computing, you need to start fresh with a new build and stop dumping money into a dinosaur.
    A great budget build: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/build-budget-gaming-pc,3943.html
  3. no i dont want to build it completely new , i just want to change my mother board and ill get one new ram of 4gb one.
and im looking for this http://www.asus.com/in/Motherboards/P5G41TM_LX3/ .

will this support my graphic card ? this one (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814162086)

and im more in to gaming and internet . i want to stick with same graphic card
  4. You should Just build an entry level system for about £300
  5. That graphics card sucks brah
  6. A new motherboard will do nothing for you.
  7. if your not trying to play games you can do it with just a mobo+cpu. what is your budget and where are you located?

yes any new motherboard will support your current gt520. if your on a strict budget... i would say this...

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

    CPU: Intel Pentium G3220 3.0GHz Dual-Core Processor ($59.97 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: MSI H81M-P33 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($48.38 @ Newegg)

but the igpu inside the a10-5800k is faster than the gt520 you already have.
