How can you check if a graphics card will be compatible with your motherboard?

I currently have a MSI 760GM-E51 motherboard and was wondering if I were to get this graphics card

Would I be able to use it?

  1. Yes that card will work perfectly fine with your board. It goes in the blue pci-e x16 slot. You need to have that free on your board to be able to install the card. More than the board, you need to check your Power supply and case.
The case should be able to accommodate the length (and height) of your card and the PSU should be able to power it. What case and PSU do you have?
