  1. I like many parts of the build.
    I would make some changes:

    1. Since a 4690 and 4690K are similarly priced, buy the "K" version even if you do not intend to overclock.
You will want a Z97 based motherboard too. Most any will do. A conservative overclock will gain you about 20% more cpu performance.

    2. Make that ram a low profile version so you have no clearance issues with a cpu cooler. Fancy heat spreaders are mostly marketing and are not needed except for record seeking ram overclockers.

    3. Your case comes with sufficient fans, and your parts run relatively cool.
You have budgeted enough extra for fans that you could afford a i7-4790K.
Adding fans just adds expense and noise.
Fans are easy to install later. See how you do with the stock fans.

    Two things is all...

    1. You don't need the cooler with the locked cpu but if you want it then it's up to you

    2. Case fans... So many case fans... Are you building a PC or a hovercraft? ;) seriously though, just get a couple of fans and then if you think you need more, buy more but I think you'll be fine with a couple, in fact, doesn't the case ship with fans already?
  3. Just thought I'd mention too, if you make a few small changes to better or equivalent parts and get rid of the fans, you can step up to a gtx 980 for almost the same cost!

+1; I'm surprised you can build a solid 1500 quid build that includes a GTX 980!
