EU version of CM Hyper 212 EVO good enough for FX-8350?

Hi, the stock cooler of my FX-8350 performs pretty well, never gets above 57°C at full load, but that thing sounds like a jet engine ready to take off. The CPU is NOT overclocked.

I was just about to order a CM Hyper 212 EVO, because it's much quieter and should make it run cooler as well, but luckily I checked the model number. I live in the Netherlands and found out that there are two CM Hyper 212 EVO versions, standard and EU.

Standard: RR-212E-20PK-R2

EU: RR-212E-16PK-R1

It seems that the standard version has a better fan, but only the EU version is available here.

Fan Speed:

600 – 2,000 RPM (PWM) ± 10%
600 – 1,600 RPM (PWM) ± 10% (EU Version)

Fan Airflow:

24.9 – 82.9 CFM ± 10%
24.9 – 66.3 CFM ± 10% (EU Version)

Fan Air Pressure:

0.3 – 2.7mm H2O ± 10%
0.3 – 1.7mm H2O ± 10% (EU Version)

I'm a little bit tight on my budget right now, so I'm wondering if the EU version with a weaker fan will still keep the FX-8350 cool enough?

I use the 212 EVO EU version with a Phenom II 955 @ 4.0 GHz and it works perfectly fine. You can change the fan later if you think it is not powerful enough.
  2. EDIT: never mind, I just misread the post.

I wouldn't worry about the version, as pbm86 mentions, you can always replace the fan (though you 99% won't need to).
  3. EDIT: Thanks for your answers. I'll get the 212 EVO EU version.
