When turning the PC on it shuts down after a second or two, then back on, sometimes twice or thrice before starting

Also, with a problem like this, should I be even using the PC or should I unplug it to prevent damage to other components?

First of all, my computer isnt new, it has ran without problems for years. I upgraded my GPU last summer and I had to reset BIOS, but it ran fine from there also.

I loaned my computer to my friend recently and after getting it back from him(we transported it by foot, covered with a blanket) it started up weird. When i turned it on, the fans started like normal(my CPU fan goes fullspeed every time i turn on the pc), but after a second or two it turned off, the light that is always on when the computer is on turned off aswell and after a second or two it started normally.

Sometimes this cycle lasts longer, sometimes it happens only once. It doesnt happen when I quickly turn on the computer after turning it off myself. Also when i restart or mess around in the BIOS, the alwaysonlight turns off for 2 seconds which it hasnt done before.

People who have had this problem usually have new PCs so I've gotten no help from their solutions. Could this be the fault of a broken motherboard or maybe while transporting some wires got loose or some dust fell somewhere? I'm going to clean the case today and check if anything is loose. If needed ill post my specs. I could also film it and post it. (I monitor the temps of GPU and CPU and they are fine when I game, so no fault in them)
