More about watch dogs 4gb ram
  1. Well minimum req is HD5770 and 6870 is pretty much above it so i dont see any problem here =/
  2. As you said your ram is way below minimum the ram gets filled up and game starts saving stuff to hdd which is hell lotta slower than ram.
  3. i don't think it's your ram/gpu. It can be drivers. you can also lower the resolution. & close any other programs running using up rams google chrome etc etc.

    Yeah it is.

The system ram requirements will only go up and down by a gig at best, which is down to how the engine loads the world in, not the actual quality of gfx. You really do need that 6gb minimum.
  5. The Ati 6870 can handle that game on Medium , IMHO.
Upgrade Your RAM , thats it !
  6. ive read about people who had monster computers and still had studdering (with high fps) while driving.

the reason ended up being because the game was on a HDD. when they moved the game to a SSD the studdering went away.

just thought i would add that on top of what else is being said here.

it can be i've no problems running it on my ssd i guess. this is how much it's using like 5 minutes of me playing
    & that's on 2k res/max settings

    You are damn right !
The last thing i read was that SSD's get more 20% that the usual FPS on a HDD.
Well that really a bad news then , as is the game is horribly optimised , absolutely nothing spectacular is brought in terms of graphical performance !
Running everything on Ultra requires a 3GB frame buffer video card , video cards like 780 Ti handle it properly there.
Apart from this , it looks similar to a PS4.
I Dont understand why the F*** Ubi waited to release this game which literally took them 4.5 years on development cycle.
The wait that we had makes it more painful after we see the end product.
  10. to be fair, ps4 runs the game at a lower resolution and frame rate.

im nearly finished the game and it ran pretty well on my hardware. no studders. minimum of 30 fps with vsync on. i even turned the detail level up to ultra.
  11. Ye but it still wont help me -_- it just doesnt run when i have 4 gig of ram doesnt matter on what details/resolution i paly ist still same even on 720p/1080p low/high details...
  12. I have a 6850 on an i5 2500, and the game ran like poo for me w/ 4GB of RAM. I was able to snatch up 16GB of CAS8 from Amazon for cheap, and the performance improved dramatically. Before, it was very choppy while driving even at 720p with everything set as low as possible. Now, it's almost perfectly smooth at my display's native 1600*900 with settings between medium and high. Alt-tabbing out for an open web browser or whatever and back in happens pretty much instantly, as well.

For kicks and giggles, I setup a 7GB cache w/ PrimoCache and find that it speeds things up even further. After running it for a day, I'm seeing better than 60% hit rate - which means that almost two thirds of the time that data needs to be read from my HD it is instead retrieved nearly instantly from RAM instead. A dramatic performance boost indeed.
  13. if u want to paly watch dogs open your game and the go to display setting and make your resolution lowest and make the game windowed and make all graphics lowest and play the game
if the game not open try again and again i alsohave 4 gb ram but i am playing watch dogs.
    My specs
    AMD A10-6800k 4.4ghz
    transcend jetram 1600Mhz 4 GB
    NVidia titan 6b GB graphics
  14. I can play with 4gb ram just fine everything on ultra @1080, but I have no vsynch on, and msaax2..i5-4590, r9 280 3gb windforce... I just found out 1 of my RAM sticks is bad and wanted to see if my gpu was still showing artifacts with just good ram in...and it is so I am RMA'ing GPU and ram :(
