LENOVO H535
AMD A8 - 5500
Radeon HD Graphics 7560D
8G Ram
1TB

Installed:
GLITE V2 550W Power Suppy
GEFORE GTX 660

Before I installed the Graphics Card I made sure the new PSU was working, which it was. Now I have installed the Graphics Card and am getting a black screen with a cursor.

I am relatively new to this stuff, I'm learning. So I apologize for my lack of knowledge and terminology. I greatly appreciate your help.

Solution
Physically remove the new card.
Plug the monitor into the integrated video output (i.e. go back to the original setup).
Remove AMD drivers.
Reboot and go into BIOS and select the dedicated graphics instead of the integrated one. There should be an option to disable the APU commpletely

did you uninstall AMD drivers first before replacing with nvidia card.

Does the bios have a setting to disable APU and intiate PCI-e first. It may well be trying to send signal via on board port, rather than discrete card.

No. I thought I didst have to? I was told that I did not have to since the graphics card was intergrated and my system would automatically pick up the new graphics after I installed the drivers. I will give it a shot.
