Solved

Not sure what is causing this..

Hello and thanks in advance to anyone who may help.
I'm having a weird thing happen occasionally and it's a bit hard to explain but I'll do my best.

When browsing the net, randomly, my screen seems to zoom out and my taskbar for my desktop changes from transparent to blue/grey. Performance drops a good bit on my pc aswell, the mouse will lag as I try to move it around. Tonight when it happened I decided to boot a game and see what happened, game booted fine, but my game screen downsized from full 1920x1080, to about a quarter of that size. This has happened approximately 8 times in the last few months, and I cannot figure out why.how to fix it or anything on google. Any thoughts would be appreciated..specs below.

Maybe I should add, that I'm not having any other issues currently, this pc is a little over a year old and updated regularly.

A reinstall or repair of windows might help. Try running your PC with only 1 RAM stick at a time. Reinstall graphics drivers. Try to use a friends gpu in your system to see if it happens.

Thanks Woltej1, I'll try reinstalling the graphics drivers now, as I don't have another GPU to test with or a disk for running repair, as my pc didn't come with one. I'm not sure if I'll be able to tell if it helps, as this happens rarely and randomly and seems to be fixed by restarting the pc. I was just worried that it may be something wrong or possibly a simple solution.
