    Would you be willing to possibly have to deal with a return? If so I would go for the one I picked out (or any 4gb if you need to save some money). I honestly haven't had to deal with ram not working on specific boards for quite a number of years now (atleast 6+) on any system I have built/worked on.

    Not saying it doesn't happen but its not an issue I have had to deal with in a looong time.

    What motherboard is it?
