It is from ASUS, my favorite brand. It terms of features, minor step up from the MSI (same basic chipset)

http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M5A97_R20/

- basic 4+2 phase power for CPU.... (more would be better..)
- will NOT support dual GPU's properly (x16, x4 ONLY) (this if the True Path to greater FPS in games...Dual GPU's...)

Were steering you to 990 chipset boards, which fix both the above issue....

i have an ASUS crosshair V formula Z and its a champion but it does come in at a premium price tag $225 but i do recommend ASUS they make amazing components with outstanding quality. If you ask me they're second to none

Go with the asus one if it´s within your budget, is good enough for the oc you´re planning to do.

Don´t need to go that high, with a cm 212 evo ($35) he will be fine.

In fact nobody knows, every chip is different maybe mine could oc more than yours with the same build or vice versa that´s something you have to find out. Remember to up the multiplier step by step, testing the cpu with something like prime 95 and when you find out what´s the max frecuency without changing voltages then you start changing the voltages little by little until you find a stable frecuency, turn cool n´ quiet and turbo off on the bios also but with a oc of 0.5ghz probably you won´t change voltages.

people are saying the vrm's are not heat sinked is the a problem i can just have a fan pushing cold air at them

Yeah, get all the fans that the case can support that will bring temps down a bit and help you with that oc, this is how to do it.
