  1. Yep, the motherboard will be great for overclocking. What CPU do you plan on overclocking?
  2. I had it. It worked great for overclocking, but be careful. The BIOS is a bit more complicated than other UEFI's I have used.
  3. Got a FX-8350 which will be cooled by a Noctua NH-U14S I'm looking at aiming for 4.4 - 4.5ghz OC that will run without problem.
It should work well with the GTX780 GPU and 1080p 3d monitor for quite a while.

OC Veteran what do you mean by

I thought it would be pretty straight forward.

You could get it easy with that board

You could probably pull that off. The cooler would limit you long before the motherboard ever would. But 4.5GHz isn't asking much from an 8350, just make sure you keep the temps under ~65C, as AMD processors do not run nearly as warm as Intel processors.
  6. I used my 8350 with a hyper 612 pwm, and it was more than fine for those clocks on that board. I got up to 4.6GHz before I had cooling problems at all on full load. Even then, they were manageable.
