I got a ddr3 gpu but my mainboard is ddr2

Will i be able to plug it in the board? pci-e is 2.1 that is good

  1. the Video memory does not care what type of memory is installed on the motherboard
  2. yes, it will work.

    another way to look at it is, if such a setup will not work, then where can we use a gddr5 GPU? we only have ddr3 motherboards :)

    dont worry about it. but next time, get a gddr5 gpu, they are faster
