PC problem, No sound output :<

OK so I used Iobit's driver booster to update some of my drivers, and it also updated Realtek HD audio manager. But after that it seems my PC wont output any sound. I have tried everything from restarting it, to restoring my PC to before the update but nothing seems to work.
When I try to open anything, even a MP3 file on windows media player it gives me an error that computer is running on low memory.
Please someone help I cant live without sound Q.Q

EDIT: Also when I restart/shut down my PC it gives the "program working in background" error thingy saying that explorer is trying to play the winlogoff sound...and stays like that for about 2-3 mins before it shuts down or restarts, again without a sound.

  1. Are you using HDMI to connect to a monitor? In audio devices - is the audio manager showing?
  2. Best answer
Uninstall both lobit and realtek audio driver and restart
Download latest realtek driver from www.realtek.com.tw
    Install it and restart
  3. No im using VGA to connect to a monitor.
In the device manager it shows realtek high def audio. When I try to update it, it says its the current updated version. On playback devices it shows Speakers as default, Realtek Digital Output and Output (Optical) as ready.

But the iobit is just a driver booster, does it affect the driver's performance too?
  5. There is no such thing as driver booster. It does not boost any sort of drivers. All updated
drivers can be manually downloaded through the manufacture's website.
