Hi. I'm having problem with my new build. When I start the machine it boots up to my windows 7. Sometimes everything goes flawlessly and sometimes it just freezes right after windows boots up. If it run without crashing for like a minute or so everything works perfectly. I can play games for hours, and do stuff without any problem. But if it crashes, I have to hard reset every time. When it crashes the screen turns into some random blank color like teal/orange/grey/black . But it's usually teal. No BSOD. And if the windows boot sound was present when it freezes it stays on it. Happens almost every other boot. :(

So far I've done:

-Memcheck
-GPU stress test
-Changed system drives. Both ssd and hdd
-Changed between Windows 7 and 8
-CMOS Reset

I've run memcheck for over night and it found no error. Same goes to GPU Stress test. I've built my it like 3 days ago and the problem started the day after I built it. I can't seem to find anything from the internet. Found some similar treads but there wasn't any solution there. So I'm asking here. Please help me :)

Computer spec:
Intel Core I5 4670k
Asus z87-a
Corsair Vengeance 2x4gb
ASUS GTX 760 DirectCU II
Corsair H55i cooler
Cooler Master GX 750W PSU

Oh, and it was never overclocked. Never even touched the bios settings. Thank you in advance.

Try checking for malware. Here's a malware scanner: http://www.malwarebytes.org/ if you can't access the application because of the blank screen readthese fixes and try them: http://en.kioskea.net/forum/affich-580866-windows-7-bla...

Hi, thank you for your response. I will try this scan now. For the blank screen issue, there is no response from the computer. no cursor, no nothing. it just sits :(
Also I just checked the cpu with prime95 and no problem after 6 hour.

EDIT: Performed the malwarebytes scan. found one hacktool.wpakill in windows folder. removed it. But the problem still exists. :(

Turned out to be the Asus GTX 760. Changed it and the problem went away.
