How many watts does the MSI Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB gpu need?

So im going to add a gpu to my rig, but i only have a Corsair CX430M psu and i cant upgrade my psu right now. I want to know if i add an MSI Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB graphics card, will it work with the psu i have?

NZXT Source 210 case
AMD A10 6800k apu
MSI FM2-A75MA-E35 motherboard
8gb G. Skills Ripjaws X 1866mhz RAM
1TB 7200rpm HDD
LG 24x optical drive
Corsair CX430M psu
Windows 8 64-bit OS

do not use a APU if you are going to use a 7870. the whole point of getting a APU is to use the onboard graphics

swap out the CPU for a fx6300 and the board to something like a 970-d3h or a 970 extreme4. swap the ram to 1600mhz stuff and upgrade the psu to a xfx 550w and you are fine

Hate to give bad news, but you'll want to be closer to at least 500w for that gpu.

ur6beersaway is correct, 500W is the minimum for this GPU. Before you think about getting a GPU even close to the 7870 you are going to need to buy a new PSU
