Great case to fit my criteria

Hello all. I will put a quick list of my main parts here.

i7-4770k
Asus z87 deluxe
GTX780 SC ACX
XSPC Raystorm RX360 cooling only the CPU for now
Cosair vengeance mem
WD Black
EVGA 1000W G2

I am mainly looking at a NZXT Switch 810 in gunmetal because of its great $150 price tag and its features but it looks cheap compared to the 800d+900d. I saw the 800D but its $300 and looks really nice with its brushed aluminium. Is there another case that has nearly the same features but is cheaper?

Is it a full tower case? Looks like a mid tower and it saids, "Not only this, Ronin encloses two 140mm fans or water cooling radiators up to 240mm in length." I want one that can fit a RX360 so this won't do. But it looks great!
  2. For what u need that brutal cooling ? oc ?
Btw 1000W is needed for ?

Please stick to the question about the casing.

Funny, I was facing the same question (810 vs 900d) a week ago, too. ;)

At first I went for the 810 because of the great feature/prica ratio, just as you already said.
But when it arrived, I was pretty disappointed. It just felt so cheap. But to clarify: That´s "only" on the outside. The inside feels very good. And looks pretty awesome.
But honestly the biggest problem for me was, I just couldn´t cary that stupid thing. There is no handle, no space to get your fingers between or something. Which means you just have to somehow wrap your arms around it and use your (in my case not existent) muscles. ^^
Which resulted in another issue: As soon as I applied some strength to lift it, everything just popped open. The top and front panel, the dust filters...everything.

So, I decided to order a 900d and compare them side by side...and what can I say, I fell in love with the 900d as soon as I saw it. Feels and looks so good.
But yeah, it´s pricy and probably an overkill.

Just to clarify once more: The 810 is very nice, too, with a great set of features, easy to expand and an almost unbeatable price. But it has its flaws.
The 900d on the other hand is imo the featurerichest (<-- is that a word?) case out there. But at a very very high price. I mean, I paid more for my case than for my CPU. O_o

So, my advice: If you have the money and the room, go for the 900d. If not, get the 810.

EXACTLY!! The only problem with the 810 is the feel and the material!! The 800D and 900D both have some metal and brushed aluminium, when the 810 is plastic. But, unfortunately....i have just read that Corsair has stopped producing parts for the 800D, and that it is discontinued...but it was $269 on newegg, $40 off retail, same as ncix... :( I will probably get the 800D none the less, unless you know of any other cases like the 800D? The BitFenix Shinobi XL Window looks sick but it won't fit a 360 rad. I may wait a bit tho to see if the 900D drops the price?(probs not)
  6. On my search for a new case, I looked at pretty much every single manufacturer I could fine. Unfortunately, most of the cases disqualified.

For me it came down to: 900d, 810, Corsair 540 (too small for you ;) ), Cooler Master Cosmos 2.

Little advice: Don´t look at the Xigmatek Elysium althoug it would fit a 360 rad I think.

I think I will have to go with the 800D, or the 900D if it price drops(most likely not).
    Thank you!
