Hi I recently put together a new system (about a month ago) and I'm getting a screen flicker for about a half a second every 10-15 minutes with certain applications.

Just as an example of programs where an issue is present:

Sim city (2013)
League of Legends
Chrome

Examples where the problem is NOT present:
Starcraft 2
Dota 2
Bioshock Infinite
Tons of other games...

The worst one is sim city as it happens in that one a bit more frequently and it isn't limited to a simple flicker. Sometimes the screen will go to a black and white checkerboard pattern for half second.

Obviously its not much of an issue but I would still like to get to the bottom of it. System specs:

Sorry for the weird copy and paste from the partial dxdiag file. I couldn't find
where I could upload the entire thing. As a note I had the problem with my previous drivers as well as the newest ati beta driver 13.3.

I just noticed it says d3d9 overlay isn't supported that seems wrong?

It does seem like drivers, but also check your directX installation through windows update as there are a couple of odd responses in the DXdiag report.

If Windows Update has none then it should be a clean DX install.
