How to upgrade this game PC: GTX570 + FX-8120

Hey, I'm new here and I hope I can finally get some advice on a forum without trolls...
I got this PC with NVidia GTX 570 and AMD FX8120. I got this for a while now and I'd like to get better performance so my question is what to upgrade, or should I upgrade both?
Most I can find is get an intel CPU, well I have an AMD motherboard so that's difficult for me, but if it's worth it to get another motherboard please say so..

If you have enough money for a 670, that's the ideal goal. You could also get a 7950 for under $300.

if you are looking for better performance in gaming then over-clock your cpu and upgrade your gpu to something like gtx670/hd7970.
if you are looking to speed up your pc then get a ssd!
