Andreessen discomforts politicians

When Democratic party politicians and candidates gathered in Northern California to show their attentiveness to tech leaders and issues, they probably didn't expect to have to publicly distance themselves from positions taken by the likes of Mr. Mozilla, Mark Andreessen. The 28-year-old Netscape co-founder staked out positions too radical for either side of the political spectrum, such as an open-border immigration policy. Andreessen pointed out that about one third of Silicon Valley startups have been founded or are run by immigrants.
