Analysts say IBM layoff rumors are inaccurate
Armonk (NY) - Rumors of a massive layoff at IBM are unfounded, according to analysts who talked with Network World. One analyst said the rumor was hogwash while another added that it was "ludicrous".
Last week, PBS’s Robert Cringley said IBM was planning to lay off up to 150,000 employees by the end of the year.
