Amiga tries again

by - source: Tom's Hardware

Within the next few months, a new AmigaOne computer will be on the market for the first time in six years. Amiga, the company, will provide the system's software but will not sell the computers, based on the Motorola PowerPC processor. Rather, it will depend on partners to manufacture and market them, including the British Eyetech, that will sell Amiga circuit boards, and the German bPlan, that will build complete Amiga computers. The machines will include, at minimum, a Universal Serial Bus, a IEEE 1394 Firewire interface, Ethernet, a 56K modem, and 64MB of memory.
