American Spy Satellite could hit North America
So, that satellite we told you about on Monday, the dead one that’s headed for Earth at an alarming rate ?
Yeah, well, here it comes.
On Monday we reported that a large, disabled, American spy satellite was falling toward the earth at great speed.
At that stage, they didn’t know where it was going to land or even if it was going to land.
Experts said that the satellite would likely burn up on entry into the atmosphere and that any left over debris that didn’t burn up would probably fall harmlessly into any of the vast oceans Earth has got going on.
Well, the U.S. military seem a little more sure of events now. Basically we’re looking at a satellite, which amateur star gazers claim is about 13 to 16.5 feet long and roughly 4,500 kg, and it’s falling at a rate of about 1,640 feet a day. It’s current estimated altitude is about 173 miles.
What’s more, they’re saying there’s a chance it could hit land after all, specifically, North America.
Air Force General Gene Renuart told the Associated Press that a number of pieces of the satellite will not burn up on entry.
According to FoxNews, The U.S. military is developing contingency plans to deal with the possibility that the large spy satellite could hit North America.
We’re still holding out for missiles.

glad i'm in england then
Maybe they should ask the Chinese to shoot it down with their anti-satellite missiles XD
They wouldn't even have to re-target them so it would be easy
I'd laugh if it landed on the Pentagon. Divine justice some might say.
