American Megatrends' New Diagnostic Software
American Megatrends has released AMIDiag 6.12, the latest version the company's diagnostic software application. AMIDiag 6.12 provides enhancements to v. 6.0 that include support for Intel, AMD, and Cyrix CPUs. Other enhancements include testing for ACPI, SMBus and USB mass storage devices, enhanced video, serial and parallel port tests, floppy disk diagnostics, and enhanced memory - including HDD tests for up to UDMA 100. An upgrade for all current AMIDiag 6.0 customers is available on AMI's website for $29.95.
