AMD's Multiprocessor Platform Gets Linux Certs
Well, not all the news today is about Intel. AMD clocked in with news that Linux distributors Caldera, MandrakeSoft, Red Hat, SuSE, and Turbolinux have certified the Athlon MP processor and AMD-760 MP chipset. The silicon combo has been thoroughly tested for the platforms, given a little pat on the back, and sent along its merry way out into server world. Not much more to say than that.
