AMD to ramp up K8 CPUs to 50 percent of total CPU output
Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) plans to ramp up the output of its K8 CPUs to three million units in the third quarter, up from about two million in the first quarter, according to sources at Taiwan chipset makers.
