AMD T-Shirt Contest Winners
A while back, THG asked you for poems or slogans with the theme, "AMD me." The response we got did not disappoint! We received poems from the furthest corners of the Earth: Finland, Romania, Australia, Uzbekistan... even Texas. Entries ranged from the inspiring to the bizarre - and we do mean bizarre. Who knew the emotional depths AMD could tap? Thanks to everyone who entered. Winners will receive an AMD T-shirt.
Here are a couple of our favorites:
Daniel Bagley writes,
There once was a studly PC,
Who met a hot USB,
He begged to connect her,
So his CPU could perfect her,
And she cried, 'oh baby AMD me!'
Dan Overholt offered this haiku:
Computer running slow
Games not playing well
Must AMD me
Maurice Ribble says,
Let me state that all us Intel converts
Proclaim no divine mastery of gigahertz.
Rather we choose to take a stance,
And focus on real-world performance.
There are many like me who agree
When choosing a processor we say, AMD me!
Emanuel Halapciuc deserves a special mention, just for being contrary:
Don't AMD Me!
While John Kennedy got right to the point:
Give me a A. Give me a M. Give me a D. What's that spell? A-M-D! Now, give me a T.
And I guess that says it all!
