AMD speeds up K6 2E
AMD has announced four new versions of its AMD K6 2E embedded processor family, at speeds up to 350MHz.
The additions include the 350MHz and 333MHz standard power processors, and the 333MHz and 300MHz low-power processors.
The new processors are designed give embedded systems developers the ability to add power while shortening their time to market, by taking advantage of x86 software compatibility, chip sets, board designs, and development tools.
