AMD sneaks out Athlon 64 2800+
AMD yesterday quietly added an Athlon 64 2800+ processor to its product list. The 1.8GHz part contains 512 kB of on-die L2 cache, and costs $178 in batches of 1000 chips. It’s a Socket 754 part.
