AMD pumps up notebook performance with 4000+ chip
AMD today unveiled its fastest ever 64-bit notebook processor, the Mobile Athlon 64 processor 4000+.
Designed for incorporation into high-performance, full sized notebook computers, the CPU was designed using the chip firm’s AMD64 hybrid 32-bit and 64-bit technology. It also features Enhanced Virus Protection (EVP), AMD’s security feature which is designed to prevent the spread of certain malicious viruses.
