AMD introduces fastest K6 yet
AMD did its best to rain on Intel's Pentium III parade by simultaneously introducing its 450MHz AMD-K6-2 processor with 3DNow! technology.
While it couldn't flaunt PC maker supporters numbering in the hundreds, AMD was able to announce adoption of the AMD-K6-2 processor by IBM, Compaq and Gateway.
