AMD introduces Barton-core Athlon XP 3000+
Chipmaker Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) on February 10 launched its latest processor, the Athlon XP 3000+, for the desktop market. Adopting the Barton core, the new Athlon XP 3000+ is built on 32-bit architecture and manufactured using 0.13-micron copper processing.
