AMD pushing strong lineup for 2007, ready for Fusion in 2 years
The lineup for the merged AMD and ATI in 2007 is going strong, according to Taiwan-based industry sources. The company’s new AMD 690 chipset platform, with integrated graphics based on technology from the former ATI, which is set for release before the end of February, is expected to not only to strengthen the company’s chipset range, but to also win market support, the sources noted. Motherboard maker, ECS is confirmed as having at least one product based on the new chipset.
