AMD denies mobile Duron line access ban
According to The Register, Asian notebook makers have complained that Advanced Micro Devices Inc. limits access to socket and chip technology for its mobile Duron family to Compaq, Quanta, Acer, Asus and Toshiba. AMD, however, denies the report, claiming product introductions for Q1 2001 are on schedule.
