AMD bumps clock speed on two-way Opteron
As expected, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) released the Opteron 246 Tuesday, increasing the performance of its processors for two-way servers and workstations. "Price cuts and benchmark data revealed last week had pointed to an upcoming Opteron 246 launch. That data also suggested that AMD is planning to release the Opteron 146 and Opteron 846 fairly soon."
